The New Pornographers and Okkervil River at The Pageant on April 19

Well, it’s official, Annie (A to Z if you’re nasty) is the raddest chick in town; she is reporting via “sources,” if that IS their real name, that The New Pornographers and Okkervil River are playing at The Pageant on Saturday, April 19th. Hot DAMN, that’s a sweet bill.
The last time NP played St. Louis, at Mississippi Nights, the place was packed, the crowd was way enthusiastic and the band was genuinely appreciative of the crowd. And, to top it off, according to the “sources”, Neko Case will be playing with the band, too!
I saw OR about three years ago at the Way Out Club on a Monday Night (Waterloo was on the bill, too) to about 30 people and, not really having heard any their songs before that night, was blown away.
This promises to be a great night of music
