Bobby Bare Jr.’s Pixies cover-band, Is She Weird…Is She White is playing its first non-Nashville show tomorrow night at Off Broadway (the band also features former mebers of …And You Will Know Us By The Trail of Dead and Forget Cassettes and they play Breeders’ songs, too!). The band was originally scheduled to play last fall but had to cancel. Read a nice little interview with Bobby in this week’s Riverfront Times here. Opening the show is Teenage FBI, a Guided by Voices cover band (featuring former and current members of Clem Snide, Lambchop and Silver Jews).
